These terms cover what you can expect from Finch and what Finch expects from you. They are written to be read, not to be skipped.
Who provides Finch
Finch is provided by Nguyễn Tiến Lãm, an individual developer based in Vietnam. Contact: lamnt.it@gmail.com.
Your account
You need an account to use Finch. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
Give a real email address. It is how you recover access and how invitations reach you.
What Finch costs
Finch is free at the moment, with every feature open. No card is required and there is no trial quietly counting down.
If paid plans start later, you will be told plainly and in advance. Payments would be handled by Paddle acting as merchant of record, which means Paddle would be the seller, would issue the invoice, and would handle refunds under its own terms.
Your data belongs to you
The time you track and everything you write in Finch stays yours. Finch stores it to provide the service and makes it exportable at any time as CSV, Excel or PDF.
Data inside an organisation is visible to that organisation according to the roles it has set. If you track time for an employer's organisation, the employer can see it — that is the point of a shared timesheet, and it is worth being clear about.
Fair use
Do not use Finch to break the law, to store other people's personal data without a reason to hold it, or to attack the service or the people using it.
Do not attempt to gain access to organisations or data you were not invited to.
What Finch does not promise
Finch is new and offered as it is. There is no promised uptime, no guaranteed response time, and features may change or be removed while the product finds its shape.
Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. The export exists for exactly that reason.
To the extent the law allows, Finch is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Ending things
You can stop using Finch whenever you like, and can ask for your data to be deleted by email — see the Privacy Policy for how that works and how long it takes.
Access may be suspended if an account is used in a way that breaks these terms or puts other people's data at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, you will be told why.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, and disputes fall to the courts of Vietnam. This does not remove protections you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that affects you, you will be told before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows when they were last revised.
